The 14 best voice survey and AI interview tools in 2026

·

A recorded answer is not an interview. Voice gets people to say three times as much, but a long answer to a broad question is still broad. What separates voice tools is what happens after someone speaks: the recording is saved, the AI asks about what they said, or an AI holds the whole interview.

This guide is for founders, PMs, designers and marketers who want customers to explain a problem in their own words. It sorts 14 tools by that one difference, argues that AI follow-ups give most product teams the most depth for the least work, prices the same 20-customer study in each tool’s billing unit, and settles the close calls, including Feedbaq or Koji.

Key takeaways

  1. Connect Feedbaq to your AI agent for free and it becomes your expert researcher: it plans and builds a voice study, and you preview it as long as you like. Customers then talk or type, the AI follows up on what each one said, and they can show you the problem on screen. Collecting responses is $49 a month.
  2. Voice gets you more: in a 2024 experiment with 1,001 people, spoken answers averaged 43.8 words against 14.2 typed. What makes those words useful is what happens next, and tools differ in exactly that: the recording is saved, the AI asks about what they said, or an AI holds the whole interview.
  3. For most product teams, the middle option gives the most depth for the least work. Everyone answers the same questions, so you can compare them, and adaptive follow-ups get the detail a first answer leaves out. Feedbaq adds the moment itself: click any word and hear how it was said.
  4. Price the study, not the plan. The same 20-customer voice study costs $49 to collect in Feedbaq, €60 to €79 in Koji and $169 in Typeform, and six of these 14 tools publish no price.

Start here

Find the line that describes your situation. Each names the tool we would try first and the one to compare it with.

  • You want customers to explain a problem in their own words. Start with Feedbaq, free in your AI agent until you collect responses: they talk or type, the AI follows up on what each one said, and you hear every answer at the moment. Compare Koji for a fully open conversation with an AI interviewer.
  • You are still exploring a problem. Start with Feedbaq: ask about the last time it happened and let the follow-ups dig. Compare Perspective AI when you also need screening questions.
  • Customers need to show you something on screen. Start with Feedbaq, which records their screen and voice and follows up on what they said. Compare TheySaid when you need task success rates.
  • You need people you cannot reach yourself. Start with Listen Labs. Compare Outset when you also need usability and concept tests.
  • Your survey already runs in QuestionPro or Alchemer. Add Voice Capture. Choose Voiceform if you would rather move to a survey tool built around voice.
  • You need a spoken answer field in a form you already have. Use Typeform, or VideoAsk when the conversation should be face to face. When you want to ask “why?” after the answer, that question belongs in Feedbaq.
  • Spoken answers should sit next to your calls and meetings. Start with Speak AI.

The 14 tools by what happens after someone speaks

The column that matters is the second one: what you get back once someone has spoken. Every tool here records or transcribes speech. They differ in whether anyone asks a second question, and whether you can still hear the moment the answer was given.

A recorded answer is not an interview

Voice gets you longer answers. A follow-up gets you the answer you needed. The case for voice is solid: in a 2024 experiment with 1,001 smartphone users, spoken answers to the same open question averaged 43.8 words against 14.2 typed. But a long answer to a broad question is still broad. “Setup was confusing, there were a lot of steps and I wasn’t sure about the data part” is three times longer than “confusing”, and you still do not know which step, or what they did next.

An interviewer would ask. That is what the follow-up adds, and the research backs it. In a 2026 experiment by NORC with 1,800 people, open answers were more detailed and informative when an AI asked a follow-up, at a slight cost to how people rated the experience. In an earlier field study with about 600 participants, a chatbot that asked open questions conversationally drew answers that were more informative, relevant, specific and clear than the same survey as a form.

Most product teams do not need the whole interview, though. They need the same five questions answered well by twenty people. When everyone answers the same questions, you can read all twenty answers to question three side by side and count how many people got stuck at the same step. In an open interview, each conversation goes where the participant takes it, so coverage varies from person to person. Koji, which runs open interviews, scores every conversation on how many of your key questions it covered. Open interviews earn their place when you do not yet know what to ask.

The middle option is also the least work. You write five questions and a line of guidance for each follow-up. There is no discussion guide to design, no panel to brief and no sales call. And giving people the choice matters: survey researchers found that forcing everyone to speak loses people, while letting them choose between voice and text keeps them. For the background, see our guide to voice feedback and how AI follow-up questions work.

Feedbaq is built for exactly this. Every customer gets the same questions and can talk or type. The AI asks up to three follow-ups about what that person said. When words are not enough, they show you their screen. And because transcripts are timed word by word, you can click the quote that matters and hear the hesitation before it. Your AI agent plans and builds the study for free, and collecting responses is $49 a month.

How we chose

This guide is desk research, not a hands-on test. We read each vendor’s pricing page, help center and customer stories on 7 October 2026, and carried a few recruitment costs from our 6 October 2026 check. The main sources are linked at the end.

  • A spoken answer. Each tool lets people answer out loud, by voice, by video or in a spoken conversation with an AI.
  • A price or a named customer. Every tool publishes a price or a free plan, or names customers in its own stories. Several AI interview tools with neither stayed out.
  • What happens after someone speaks. We sorted the list by it, because it decides what kind of evidence you get.
  • A clear difference from the tool next to it. Each entry names the nearest alternative and when to pick it instead.

We make Feedbaq and recommend it first when you can reach the people you want to hear from. Video-first research platforms built for brand teams are in our guide to AI user research tools for product managers.

The AI adapts to each answer

This is where a voice study earns its keep: one question, one honest first answer, then a follow-up about exactly what that person said. These tools are adaptive where it counts. The AI reads each answer and writes the next question for that person, while everyone still covers the same ground. Feedbaq is our pick: it is built around adaptive follow-ups for customers you can reach, with screen recordings when they need to show you. Voiceform puts AI probes into a full survey tool. TheySaid puts an AI moderator into a screen-based user test, free to start.

1. Feedbaq

feedbaq.to

Made by us

Feedbaq gets you the depth of a customer call without the calendar. You share a study link, and people answer each question by voice, by narrating their screen on a desktop, or by text and choice. An AI asks up to three follow-ups about what each person said, and your own AI agent can build the study, publish it and read every answer.

People talk or type in the same question, and the AI adapts to what they said. A voice question offers “Type instead” by default, and if someone declines the microphone, it switches to typing. Each answer gets up to three follow-ups written for that person, guided by a line you set, such as “ask what they expected to happen”. Feedbaq detects the language people speak, so customers can answer in their own.

They can show you instead of describing it, and you hear the tone at the moment. On a desktop, a screen question records their screen and voice while they walk you through the problem, so “the data part” becomes the exact field they stared at. Transcripts are timed word by word: click a word and the recording plays from there.

Your AI agent becomes your expert researcher, free. Connect Feedbaq and the agent plans and builds the study from what it knows about your product, you preview it as long as you like, and it reads every answer with a link to the second each quote was said. Collecting responses is $49 a month. Feedbaq is in Claude’s connector directory and also connects to ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor and Grok; setup is on the MCP help page.

You bring
A handful of questions about one decision, the customers who can answer them, and a line of guidance for each follow-up
You get
Recordings with transcripts timed word by word, follow-up answers, topic counts, and quotes linked to the moment they were said
Example
Ask 20 customers who downgraded about the last time the product let them down. When one says “the export broke again”, the AI asks what they were exporting and for whom, and you hear the sigh before the answer.
Shortlist it if
You can reach the customers you want to hear from and want everyone to answer the same questions, with follow-ups that get the detail a first answer leaves out.
Choose it over
Koji when you want answers you can compare question by question and want people to show the problem on screen; Typeform or VideoAsk when the follow-up matters more than the form.
Think twice if
Your study depends on strangers who match a narrow profile: pair Feedbaq with a recruitment panel, or choose Koji or Listen Labs, which recruit.
Price
Free in your AI agent; $49 a month to publish and collect responses, with every feature and unlimited studies and team members
Free plan
Yes: connect your AI agent, plan and build studies, and preview them, free

2. Voiceform

voiceform.com

Voiceform is a survey builder where open questions can be answered by voice, video or text, next to ratings, matrices and the other usual question types. AI probes ask follow-ups, and it transcribes and translates answers in 50 languages. Its customer stories include Harvard, JLL, RingCentral and Opinium.

You bring
A questionnaire with voice questions, shared by link, embed or SMS, or sent to its respondent panel
You get
Transcribed answers with themes and sentiment, next to the rest of your survey data
Example
Ask for an NPS score, then a voice question about the reason, and let an AI probe ask what happened when an answer is vague.
Shortlist it if
You want a full survey tool, with logic and many question types, in which the open questions are spoken.
Choose it over
Typeform when spoken answers and AI probes are the point of the survey, not an add-on to a form.
Think twice if
You want a follow-up on every answer: Lite includes 40 AI probes a month against 200 answers, and recordings stop at 2 minutes 30 seconds.
Price
Not published; Lite includes 200 answers, 40 AI probes and one seat a month, and custom plans are quoted on a call

3. TheySaid

theysaid.io

TheySaid runs AI-moderated user tests and surveys in which people share their screen and talk with an AI by voice, in over 70 languages. Its reports link to the recordings, transcripts and highlight clips behind each insight.

You bring
A product or prototype to try, or questions to ask, and people you invite or recruit from its panel
You get
Screen and voice recordings, task results, transcripts and clips
Example
Ask five customers to try the new checkout while the AI asks what they expected at each step, then share the clip where two of them hesitated.
Shortlist it if
You want to try an AI moderator on a screen-based test without paying.
Choose it over
Voiceform when the study is a task on screen rather than a questionnaire.
Think twice if
You run several studies at once or want open AI interviews: Free runs one active test, and interviews come with Enterprise.
Price
Enterprise, custom and billed annually
Free plan
Yes: 5 AI user tests and 50 AI surveys a month, one active test
Watch the extra costs
Recruiting from its panel costs extra, more for hard-to-find testers.

An AI holds an open interview

An open interview suits a team that cannot write a first question yet; most teams can, and Feedbaq’s follow-ups find what that question missed while keeping answers comparable. Feedbaq’s follow-ups adapt to each answer within the questions you set. These tools let the AI choose the questions too: the interviewer works from your goals rather than a fixed list, follows what each participant brings up and decides when to move on. Koji does it as a spoken conversation, with recruitment if you need it. Perspective AI adds screening and questions every conversation must cover.

4. Koji

koji.so

Koji runs AI-moderated interviews as a spoken conversation with an AI interviewer, a text chat or a phone call. The interviewer works through your key questions, probes as it goes, scores each conversation and turns the set into a report with themes, sentiment and quotes.

You bring
A research goal and key questions, and participants you invite or recruit through its panel partners
You get
Interview transcripts with structured answers, and a report you can refresh as new interviews arrive
Example
Interview 20 recent sign-ups about what they used before, let the conversation follow whoever mentions a spreadsheet, then read the report’s strongest theme.
Shortlist it if
You are still looking for the right questions and want each conversation to follow the participant.
Choose it over
Perspective AI when you want an AI that talks with people out loud, at a published euro price, with recruitment from panel partners in over 130 countries.
Think twice if
You want people to show you a screen: Koji’s own usability guide runs tasks by voice and text, with no screen recording.
Price
Insights €29 a month with 29 credits; Interviews €79 a month with 79 credits, MCP and API; Enterprise from €500 a month
Free plan
Yes: 10 credits, no card needed
Watch the extra costs
A voice interview uses 3 credits, a chat interview 1 and a report refresh 5; extra credits cost €1. Only conversations its AI scores 3 or higher out of 5 are charged. Panel participants are priced per completed interview.

5. Perspective AI

getperspective.ai

Perspective AI runs adaptive research conversations, typed or out loud over voice, with screening and questions every conversation must cover. It probes where an answer is thin, and its MCP server works with Claude Desktop, Claude Code and Cursor.

You bring
A research brief, screening rules and the questions every conversation must cover
You get
Conversation transcripts and an analysis you can question
Example
Screen for people who switched tools in the last six months, require “what made you leave?”, and let the AI follow each reason.
Shortlist it if
Every conversation must cover the same required questions, and you still want the AI to follow the unexpected answer.
Choose it over
Koji when screening and required questions matter more than a recruitment panel, and the whole team needs seats.
Think twice if
You run many conversations: each uses 10 credits, so Pro covers about 100 a month.
Price
Pro $99 a month with 1,000 credits and unlimited seats; Enterprise on request
Free plan
100 starter credits, about ten conversations

AI interviews with recruited participants

Pay for a platform like these when the people you need are not on your customer list. Each one finds participants, runs AI-moderated interviews and delivers the analysis. Listen Labs suits product and market questions. Outset adds usability and concept tests at enterprise scale. Conveo, Strella and Voxpopme lead with video and consumer panels. None publishes a platform price, so ask each for a quote on the same study.

6. Listen Labs

listenlabs.ai

Listen Labs designs the study, recruits from a network of over 50 million participants or from your own list, runs AI-moderated interviews and writes the report. Its case studies include Anthropic, Microsoft and Sweetgreen. It announced that it is joining Salesforce, with the same team building the product.

You bring
A research question and the audience you need, or your own contact list
You get
Completed interviews and a report in which each claim points to the interviews behind it
Example
Recruit IT buyers at mid-size companies and learn why they turned down a concept after seeing it.
Shortlist it if
Finding the right participants is the hardest part of your study.
Choose it over
Outset when recruited AI interviews and a written report are the whole job, without usability tests.
Think twice if
You want to start today with a card: it sells through a demo, with no published price.

7. Outset

outset.ai

An enterprise platform for AI-moderated interviews, usability sessions and concept tests. Participants answer in text, voice or video, or talk with an AI interviewer that speaks, and the platform synthesizes across hundreds of interviews.

You bring
A discussion guide, the concepts or flows to show, and a target audience
You get
Interview recordings and transcripts with a synthesis across them
Example
Show three onboarding concepts to target users and compare how each group explains what it understood.
Shortlist it if
A research team needs interview depth at survey volume, study after study.
Choose it over
Listen Labs when usability and concept tests belong in the same platform as the interviews.
Think twice if
You run one study a quarter: pricing is custom, and recruitment and services are scoped separately.
Price

8. Conveo

conveo.ai

Conveo runs asynchronous AI-moderated voice or video interviews in many languages. Its charts click through from a number to the verbatim quotes behind it, and it stitches tagged quotes into highlight reels.

You bring
A study guide and participants from your list, a link, a QR code, WhatsApp or a panel
You get
Voice and video interviews, transcripts and charts that open on the quotes behind them
Example
Interview buyers in Germany and Spain about the same concept, then cut a reel of how each market describes it.
Shortlist it if
You need interviews across languages and markets, and stakeholders who want to see faces.
Choose it over
Listen Labs when several languages and video are the core of the study.
Think twice if
You need a subscription price before you start: the platform is quoted per study.

Watch the extra costs
Recruiting through its Respondent integration costs $6 a participant plus incentives, usually $1 an interview minute: about $21 for a 15-minute interview.

9. Strella

strella.io

Strella runs AI-moderated interviews with dynamic follow-ups, records the screen and camera while people react to a website, prototype or ad, and recruits the participants. Hatch ran 11 studies and about 221 interviews on it for one product launch. It is an official connector in Claude and ChatGPT.

You bring
A research goal, the stimulus to show and a description of the people you need
You get
Interview recordings, transcripts and themes you can share with stakeholders
Example
Show a new pricing page to 100 recruited shoppers overnight and watch where they scroll while they explain what they would buy.
Shortlist it if
You are a consumer brand that needs recruited people reacting to a website, prototype or ad by tomorrow.
Choose it over
Outset when consumer research with a panel matters more than a usability program.
Think twice if
You want a price before the first call: its tiers are usage-based and sold through a demo.
Price
Not published; usage-based tiers
Free plan
None published

10. Voxpopme

voxpopme.com

Voxpopme is a consumer insights platform for video surveys, live interviews and an AI Moderator that runs voice interviews with adaptive follow-ups, recruited from a panel of over 3.5 million people. Clips go into showreels for stakeholders, and Microsoft is among the customers it quotes.

You bring
Open questions or a discussion guide, and participants from its panel or your own users
You get
Video and voice answers with themes, sentiment, clips and showreels
Example
Ask recruited shoppers to react to three packaging concepts on video, then build a showreel of the strongest objections.
Shortlist it if
Your findings have to persuade people who believe a customer only when they can see one.
Choose it over
Conveo when you want video surveys, live interviews and AI interviews from one consumer-research vendor.
Think twice if
You are a small product team: modules are priced on request for enterprise insights teams.
Price
Not published; priced on request by module
Free plan

The recording is saved

A voice field is enough for one answer to one clear question; the moment you want to ask “why?”, you need the follow-ups Feedbaq adds to every answer. These four record or transcribe what people say and stop there, or nearly. Typeform and VideoAsk add spoken answers to forms and video flows. Speak AI files them next to your other recordings. Voice Capture adds a microphone to the survey you already run, and keeps only the text. If you will ever want to play a customer’s words to your team, pick one that keeps the audio.

11. Typeform

typeform.com

Typeform’s forms can take video and audio answers of up to two minutes, with an automatic transcript. Clarify with AI asks up to two clarification questions after a typed open answer. Both come with its Growth and Talent plans.

You bring
An existing Typeform and the open question you want answered out loud
You get
Audio or video clips with transcripts in your form responses
Example
Add an audio answer to the “why?” question after your NPS score, and keep the logic and integrations you already have.
Shortlist it if
You already run your forms on Typeform and want spoken answers inside them.
Choose it over
VideoAsk when you want a full form, with logic and integrations, around the spoken answer.
Think twice if
You want follow-ups on spoken answers: Clarify with AI works after typed answers only, and recordings stop at two minutes.
Price
Growth and Talent plans, $169 to $379 a month billed monthly; Talent is $119 a month billed annually
Free plan
Yes: 10 responses a month, without audio answers

12. VideoAsk

videoask.com

VideoAsk, made by Typeform, builds asynchronous conversations from video prompts you record. People reply by video, audio or text, and branching logic or an AI chatbot sends them to the next video you recorded.

You bring
A recorded video prompt for every step, and the paths people can take
You get
Video, audio and text replies with transcripts
Example
Record a welcome video, branch by customer type and ask each group to describe the workflow they use today.
Shortlist it if
The face is the point: testimonials, candidate screening or personal video replies to leads.
Choose it over
Typeform when the whole conversation is video, starting on a free plan.
Think twice if
You want a follow-up written for each answer: the AI chatbot plays videos you recorded in advance, and every minute recorded, yours included, counts toward the plan.
Price
Grow $30 a month with 100 minutes; Brand from $50 with 200 minutes, up to $344 for 2,000
Free plan
Yes: 20 minutes of video or audio a month

13. Speak AI

speakai.co

Speak AI collects audio and video answers through branded recorders and surveys, transcribes them in over 100 languages, and analyzes them together with your meetings and uploaded recordings. Its MCP server lets Claude and other agents read the whole library.

You bring
Spoken answers from a recorder page, plus meetings and files you upload
You get
Transcripts, themes, sentiment and AI chat across every recording
Example
Collect spoken answers on a recorder page, add last quarter’s discovery calls, and search for the words customers use for the problem.
Shortlist it if
Spoken answers should join a library of calls and interviews you already analyze.
Choose it over
Voice Capture when you want to keep and analyze the audio, not only the text.
Think twice if
You want follow-up questions: the recorder saves one answer, and AI interviewers come with custom Enterprise builds.
Price
Pro $25 a user a month, or $20 billed annually, with 25 credits a user; pay as you go at $1 a credit
Free plan
7-day free trial

Credits pay for processing: 2 an hour for standard transcription and 12 per 100,000 characters of translation.

14. Voice Capture

voicecapture.ai

Voice Capture adds a record button to the survey you already run in QuestionPro, Alchemer, FormAssembly or Sawtooth. People speak, the answer is transcribed in seconds in 36 languages, and a new AI feature can ask one follow-up when an answer is too thin.

You bring
An existing survey on a supported platform and one snippet of code
You get
Transcribed spoken answers in your survey data; the audio itself is discarded
Example
Add a microphone to the open question in your QuestionPro churn survey without rebuilding the survey.
Shortlist it if
Your survey platform and process work, and the only thing missing is a spoken answer.
Choose it over
Typeform’s audio answers when you run QuestionPro or Alchemer and would rather pay per answer than per month.
Think twice if
You want to hear the customer again: Voice Capture keeps the transcript and never stores the audio.
Price
Essential $99 for 1,000 transcribed answers; Professional $299 for 4,000; one-time packs that never expire
Free plan

What one voice study costs

Credits, minutes and answers make the same study cost very different amounts. Here is one study priced in each tool’s own billing unit: 20 customers you invite, five voice questions, about eight minutes of talking each, run in one month. Tools without a published price are left out.

One 20-customer voice study priced in each tool's billing unit, checked 7 October 2026
ToolWhat the study getsBilled byThis study
FeedbaqUp to 3 adaptive AI follow-ups per question, screen recordings, agent accessThe month, to collect responses; building is free$49
Koji20 AI voice interviews3 credits per voice interview€60 on Insights (29 credits plus 31 at €1); €79 on Interviews, which adds MCP and API
Perspective AI20 AI conversations10 credits per conversation$99 on Pro; the free credits cover 10 people
TypeformAudio answers up to 2 minutes, no follow-ups on themThe month$169 on Talent, billed monthly
VideoAskRecorded answers, no written follow-upsMinutes recorded, yours included$50 on Brand: about 165 of 200 minutes
Speak AIRecorded answers, transcribed and searchablePer user, plus processing credits$25 on Pro, which covers the transcription
Voice CaptureTranscribed answers, audio discardedOne credit per answerThe 250 free credits cover 100 answers, plus your survey platform

Two things the table hides. Koji and Perspective AI bill per conversation, so a second round in the same month costs as much again in credits. VideoAsk and Voice Capture cost little because they record and stop: nobody asks the second question.

The close calls

Feedbaq or Koji?

Choose Feedbaq for customers you can reach. Feedbaq asks everyone the same questions and adapts up to three follow-ups to each answer, so you get the depth of a conversation and can still read twenty answers to the same question side by side. Koji holds an open spoken conversation that goes wherever the participant takes it, which helps when you cannot write a first question; it also means each conversation covers different ground, and Koji scores how much of your plan each one covered.

Three more differences point the same way. People can show you their screen in Feedbaq; Koji’s usability guide describes voice and text sessions with no screen recording. Both let your agent create, publish and read studies over MCP, but Feedbaq’s agent gets word timings, so every quote links to its second in the recording, and connecting it is free; Koji’s MCP comes with Interviews at €79 a month. For the 20-customer study above, that is $49 to collect in Feedbaq against €79 for the same agent workflow in Koji. Koji is the choice only when you need strangers recruited through its panel partners; for your own users, trial sign-ups or waitlist, Feedbaq hears from everyone you invite.

A voice field in your form, or a voice study?

Keep the voice field for one answer; move to a study when the answer needs a second question. Typeform’s audio answers stop at two minutes and get no AI follow-up, and VideoAsk’s chatbot can only play videos you recorded in advance. If your form already works and you need a spoken “why” after a score, keep it. If you keep reading answers and wishing you could ask “what happened then?”, that is a study. Our Typeform comparison and VideoAsk comparison go deeper.

Your own customers, or a recruited panel?

Ask your own customers whenever they can answer the question. They know your product, answer faster and cost nothing to reach. Pay for Listen Labs, Outset, Strella or the other recruited platforms when you need people who have never heard of you, such as buyers in a new segment.

Feedbaq or TheySaid for screen recordings?

Choose TheySaid for task success rates, and Feedbaq when you need to know why. TheySaid guides people through tasks with an AI moderator and measures task success, free for one active test. Feedbaq mixes screen recordings with voice, text and choice questions in one study, with follow-ups on each and unlimited studies at once. When the screen is one part of a conversation about a decision, Feedbaq gets you both the moment and the reason. See our guide to screen recording feedback.

Your first voice study

Ask about what people did, not what they think they would do. The last real time is the one they remember in detail.

  1. Pick one decision you are stuck on, and the 20 customers who lived through it most recently.
  2. Write five questions about the last real occurrence: “Tell me about the last time you [did the task]. What were you trying to get done?”, “What did you try first?”, “Where did it get stuck? Show me on your screen if you can.”, “What did you do instead?” and “What did that cost you?”
  3. Turn on follow-ups for the open questions, with a line of guidance such as “ask what happened next” or “ask who else was involved”.
  4. Answer the study yourself, out loud, and read the follow-ups you get before anyone else sees it.
  5. Send the link. Read the answers question by question, and play the recording at every quote before it goes into the spec. Our customer discovery questions have more wording to borrow.

What are the best voice survey tools in 2026?

It depends on what should happen after someone speaks. For AI follow-ups on every answer from customers you can reach, start with Feedbaq; Voiceform and TheySaid also follow up. For an open AI interview, Koji or Perspective AI. For recruited participants, Listen Labs, Outset, Conveo, Strella or Voxpopme. For a spoken answer field only, Typeform, VideoAsk, Speak AI or Voice Capture.

Is a voice survey the same as an AI interview?

No. A voice survey saves a spoken answer to a question. Feedbaq, Voiceform and TheySaid add AI follow-ups written for each answer while everyone covers the same questions. An AI interview, as in Koji or Perspective AI, lets the AI choose the questions as the conversation goes.

Should I choose Feedbaq or Koji?

Choose Feedbaq when you know your questions and want answers you can compare: everyone answers the same questions with up to three AI follow-ups each, people can show their screen, and transcripts are timed word by word. Choose Koji for an open spoken conversation with an AI interviewer, or when you need it to recruit through panel partners. For 20 voice interviews, Koji costs €60 on Insights or €79 on Interviews, the plan with MCP; Feedbaq is $49 a month to collect responses.

How much does a voice survey tool cost?

For 20 customers answering five voice questions in a month: Feedbaq $49, Koji €60 to €79 in credits, Perspective AI $99 on Pro, Typeform $169 on its Talent plan, VideoAsk $50 on Brand by recorded minutes, Speak AI $25 a user on Pro, and Voice Capture within its 250 free credits plus your survey platform. Voiceform and the recruited interview platforms publish no price.

Is Feedbaq free?

Feedbaq is free in your AI agent. Connect it to Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor or Grok and the agent becomes your expert researcher: it plans and builds studies, and you preview them, for free. Publishing a study to collect responses costs $49 a month, with every feature and unlimited studies and team members.

Can people answer by voice and show their screen in the same study?

Yes, in Feedbaq: a study can mix voice, narrated screen recordings on a desktop, text and choice questions, and voice questions let people type instead. TheySaid records screens during user tests, Strella records the screen while people react to a website or prototype, and Voiceform offers a screen recording question.

Which voice survey tools recruit participants?

Koji recruits through panel partners in over 130 countries. Listen Labs, Outset, Conveo, Strella and Voxpopme recruit for AI-moderated interviews, and TheySaid and Voiceform offer panels. Feedbaq collects answers from customers you can reach yourself, such as users, trial sign-ups or a waitlist.
